NFL fans took to social media to slam NBC for skipping Lindsey Stirling’s halftime show for the Thanksgiving game between Miami Dolphins and Green Bay Packers.
Those inside the stadium at Lambeau Field hailed the performance by the violinist but for the millions watching at home after enjoying their Thanksgiving dinners, it was all a disappointment.
The broadcaster only a showed a few seconds of Stirling’s big moment, instead opting for a feature about Dolphins fullback Alex Ingold during halftime.
‘NBC Shame on you for not showing Lindsey Stirling’s performance during halftime,’ one fan wrote on X. ‘That was the only reason I watched this evening! So disappointing!’
Another wrote: ‘NBC are you flipping kidding me?? Y’all show 3 seconds of the Lindsey Stirling halftime show?? Both other games showed entire thing. What a damn joke you are!!!’
A different angry television viewer tweeted to NBC: ‘What a complete joke your channel is for not showing the Lindsey Stirling performance. Whoever is running things over there at NBC needs to be fired.’
