Tyreek Hill is talking again.

Of course, Tyreek, the Miami Dolphins’ multi-talented wide receiver, is always talking.

But this time Tyreek promised the stars. Well, a star — cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

This captured my attention, as so many things from Dolphinsland have recently.

Former Dolphins offensive tackle Kendall Lamm reportedly comparing his new team, the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, to the Dolphins.

And I told you Tyreek has been talking. He also had something to say about the Buffalo Bills, the team that owns the Dolphins.

But let’s start with Tyreek saying he’ll get Ramsey back in a Dolphins uniform. That would be an absolute miracle.

Interestingly, Tyreek, who, thank goodness, knows how to make headlines, did his talking a little more than a week after running an impressive 10.15-second 100-meter dash. It was also two days after ESPN reported Ramsey is likely to get traded to either the Los Angeles Rams or Los Angeles Chargers at some point before training camp opens in late July.

Tyreek has never been more correct than when he said, “We need Ramsey.”

Tyreek has seen the Dolphins cornerbacks the entire offseason. They haven’t been good.

He made an open plea over the weekend in saying the Dolphins “need Ramsey.”

Tyreek is 100 percent correct on this one.

You wonder what coach Mike McDaniel and general manager Chris Grier think about those words.

Tyreek, who is likely in his final year with the Dolphins (due to count $51 million against the salary cap in 2026), did his talking on stage at the Fanatics Fest in New York City.

Hill posted a clip on social media.

The clip was titled, “Ima get@jalenramsey back…”

“I’m going to hang out with Ramsey next week,” Hill said. “I’m going to get him back. I’m getting Ramsey back in a Dolphins jersey. I don’t care what they say — tampering, whatever. But we need Ramsey. He’s a dog. He’s one of the best corners in the league. Great leader. A great teammate too, though. That’s what he doesn’t get a lot of credit for.”

Tyreek concluded by saying, “We just need him on the Dolphins, man.”

Tyreek talks a lot of, uh, stuff.

Nevertheless, Ramsey and the Dolphins being reunited at this point seems highly unlikely as this is a severely fractured relationship.

We could guess perhaps the biggest thing holding up a Ramsey trade is how much of the $20 million or so that he’s due this season will be split between the Dolphins and Ramsey’s new team.

Would the Dolphins pay 25%?

Once that’s settled, Ramsey is gone.

Tyreek takes shot at Bills

Tyreek took a shot at the Bills at Fanatics Fest because of the two-high safety defensive schemes they employ against the Dolphins. Hill contends the Bills are afraid to cover him man-to-man.

The defense works.

During Tyreek’s three years with the Dolphins, he’s 1-6 against Buffalo and he doesn’t have a single 100-yard receiving game.

In seven games against Buffalo as a Dolphins player, Tyreek has 35 receptions for 415 yards and two touchdowns, which is a mere five receptions for 59 yards per game.

Check and mate for the Bills.

Sieler, Jonnu contracts

Sieler and Smith both want new contracts. But both turn 30 this year, Sieler in September and Smith in August.

But if you’re the Dolphins, you must ask yourself, “How much do we want to pay 31-year-old Sieler and 32-year-old Smith?”

Remember, the Dolphins are on Plan B, trying to win with youth and draftees.

Plan A, winning with 30-somethings, is done — and didn’t work.

Lamm on Eagles culture?

It’s been reported on social media that Lamm made a comment comparing Philadelphia Eagles culture to Dolphins culture. The comment was reportedly made to ESPN.

The problem is, I can’t find the comment or article anywhere.

Perhaps it’s on a podcast. I can’t find that, either. Attribution isn’t specific.
