Buffalo, New York will looks like a snow globe Sunday night.
It’s going to be a fun one on Sunday night between the San Francisco 49ers and the Buffalo Bills. One team came close to a Super Bowl win last year, and the other has big hopes of getting there in a few months.
But that is only part of what is playing into the Sunday Night Football matchup this week. Despite the 49ers needing a win to keep their post-season hopes alive after being plagued by injuries and mishaps all season, the Bills are coming off a bye and are bringing some momentum into the game after they gave the defending Super Bowl champ Kansas City Chiefs their first loss of the season.
Buffalo, New York, will also have a lot of snow on the ground by Sunday night.
December in western New York is a doozy. The last thing a team from California wants is to travel to the East Coast and play in frigid, snowy weather. There isn’t a single player on the 49ers team who is going to enjoy this.
However, the Bills Mafia are already starting the party before Sunday night.
A video surfaced online of Bills fans tailgating near Highmark Stadium with wintery snow blowing in the night air. It’s only going to get more snowy as the days progress. Buffalo and the surrounding areas are expected to get slammed with multiple feet of snow.
The entire Bills fan base is used to it and ready for the weather. There has yet to be any cancellation or postponement of the game. Maybe it’s because the roads are plowed so well up there near the Canadian border—or at least Sean McDermott thinks so.
