NFL fans are convinced that the Kansas City Chiefs-Las Vegas Raiders Black Friday game was “rigged” following a bizarre ending.

Aidan O’Connell and the visitors were oh-so-close to handing the Kansas City Chiefs just their second loss of the season. Facing a 3rd-and-3 situation at the KC 32 with only 15 seconds remaining, the Raiders were preparing to set up a Daniel Carlson game-winning attempt.

But the Raiders handed the game away on a silver platter, with Jackson Powers-Johnson botching the snap that the Chiefs recovered for a fumble. There was confusion because of a flag on the play, but it didn’t matter since it was an illegal shift infraction on the Raiders.

With the Kansas City Chiefs somehow pulling out another close one-score victory, fans wasted no time with the “rigged” accusations. Some even stated that the Raiders tanked to finish with a higher draft pick:

“Vegas made the call,” one fan wrote.

“The referees blew the whistle the play was dead before any recovery which is what makes it even stranger,” another fan said.
Do better,

“Do better, @nfl. The end of the Chiefs/Raiders was one of the worst called situations I’ve seen. It’s no wonder people believe it’s rigged,” wrote a disgruntled fan.

“I ain’t big on conspiracy theories but this league is so rigged for Mahomes and the Chiefs lol,” another fan said.

“”My last pick falls into the sports are rigged category.” Raiders cover. Chiefs win. Illegal shift. Clockwork,” one fan said.

“Raiders just gave a free win to the Chiefs, this tank job is unreal lol,” a fan said.

“Superior tank job by the Raiders honestly. Make it clear that you *could’ve* won but still didn’t. Shedeur gonna look aiight in that silver & black,” said another.

What can we say? The Kansas City Chiefs just keep finding a way.

Kansas City Chiefs Are Sure Playing With Fire

The Chiefs will say “a win’s a win” on any day, but they’re certainly playing a dangerous game by letting their opponents stay in it. Somehow, the defending champs almost lost to the lowly Carolina Panthers and Raiders in back-to-back weeks.
