The Baltimore Ravens are set to face the Philadelphia Eagles at home in Week 13.
In a matchup of likely playoff teams, stars on both sides will be looking to show up and show out.
ESPN analyst Ryan Clark recently challenged one Ravens star to have a big day.
“This is the Lamar Jackson MVP game. … Go out and prove that you’re the best player in the league,” Clark said on “First Take.”
The Ravens need to win this game to keep pace with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North.
They also need a win to make sure that they don’t fall back in the playoff race.
According to Clark, this is a big game when Jackson has to prove that he is one of the best players in the world.
This season, Jackson has thrown for a league-leading 3,053 yards and 27 touchdowns.
He is one of the front-runners for MVP and one of the ultimate competitors in the game today.
In this matchup against a very good Eagles team, he is going to have to be who he has been since he entered the league.
The Eagles have a very stingy defense thanks to the steady play of emerging defensive tackle Jalen Carter, linebacker Zack Baun and defensive back Quinyon Mitchell.
If Jackson can guide the Ravens to a big win at home, they could be a real threat in the AFC championship race moving forward.
