The Miami Heat are fresh off a blowout victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.
They had the Lakers’ number from the start of the game, taking an early lead and refusing to give it back.
The game was effectively over by halftime, but they still poured it on in the second half to eventually win by 41.
While this was a team win by the Heat, Tyler Herro had a particularly strong game from beyond the arc, which helped solidify the victory.
As HeatMuse recently highlighted on X, Herro became the 15th player in NBA history to make seven three-pointers in a single quarter while shooting at least 87% from range.
He not only made a lot of shots from beyond the three-point line, but he was accurate in most of his attempts, giving the Heat an efficient performance.
Herro has come back from injury with a vengeance, averaging 24.1 points per game and shooting 42% from the three-point line this season.
His presence has made a major impact on the team all year, and assuming he can stay healthy, Herro should be a big part of the team’s push to the playoffs.
The Heat currently hold a 10-10 record, which, if the season were to end today, would put them into the Play-In Tournament at the end of the year.
They’re seemingly getting better each week, which bodes well for their chances down the stretch.
With players like Herro and Jimmy Butler on the roster, they have the talent to match up with any team that stands in their way.
