Ruben Amorim met some of the Manchester United players for the first time since Erik ten Hag was sacked – as he gave Mason Mount and Kobbie Mainoo a warm hug😍😍

Once he got to Manchester United to become the new manager, Ruben Amorim already met some of his new players.

Ruben Amorim has been all smiles at Carrington

After a record-low start to the season, Erik ten Hag quit as head coach of the Red Devils, and the Portuguese manager was hired to take over that job.

This 39-year-old man comes from Sporting Clube de Portugal, where he won two league titles. He also takes with him some staff members from Lisbon.

As one of the most sought-after young coaches in Europe, United fans will be curious to see how quickly the new manager can get settled in at his new home. He will be taking over from Ruud van Nistelrooy, who was in charge temporarily and had no losses.

He hugged Kobbie Mainoo

Even though it’s the international break, Amorim was able to meet some of his new players for the first time. Those who were hurt or not picked were still at Carrington to meet their new boss.

Kobbie Mainoo, a star player for England who graduated from the United academy and isn’t in the England team right now because of an injury, was seen meeting Amorim.

The new manager greeted the teenager with a big smile and a warm hug. The teenager, who is one of the team’s best young players, will no doubt play a big part in his plans to change everything about the club.

And embraced Luke Shaw

Luke Shaw and Mason Mount, two other England players, also got to smile and have a moment with Amorim, who was seen hugging the former Chelsea star.

Both Leny Yoro and the 39-year-old head coach were seen laughing. Yoro had just recently returned to United training after getting hurt in pre-season.

Finally, Amorim put his charges at ease by putting his arm around the shoulder of school starlet Toby Collyer.

He was seen sharing a joke with summer signing Lenny Yoro

As always when a new boss comes in, United’s stars will want to show Amorim what they can do to get on his good side.

It’s clear that Amorim doesn’t like Ten Hag’s system. Ten Hag often used a double pivot 4-2-3-1 setup near the end of his time at Old Trafford.

His replacement, on the other hand, is known to like a 3-4-3 formation. When the shape and structure of a team change, some players will get chances where there weren’t many before, which also means the opposite is true.

He could have a big role for Mason Mount

Former deputy manager Van Nistelrooy may have led an unbeaten stretch after Ten Hag’s string of bad results ended with a 2-1 loss to West Ham, but he has since left the club before Amorim took over.

Rene Hake, Jelle ten Rouwelaar (Ten Hag’s other No. 2), and Pieter Morel (performance expert) have also been fired to make room for Amorim’s team.

That Ruud van Nistelrooy has left Manchester United was written in a club statement.

Rud is a Manchester United icon and always will be. We appreciate what he has done for the club and how he has gone about his job during his time there. He is always welcome at Old Trafford.
