Postgame Handshake Between Andy Reid, Jim Harbaugh Is Turning Heads

The Kansas City Chiefs earned a 19-17 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 14, advancing to 12-1 on the season.

The battle between two AFC West divisional rivals on “Sunday Night Football” did not disappoint.

Kansas City won the game off a walk-off doink field goal, helping the Chiefs win their third straight game of the year.

Following the prime time matchup on “Sunday Night Football,” Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh had a quick exchange.

“Two of the greats. Always a battle, Chargers,” posted the Kansas City Chiefs’ official social media page.

With the “Sunday Night Football” victory, the Chiefs have won seven straight games against the Chargers.

Harbaugh is now 0-2 against Reid, during his first season in Los Angeles.

Some fans took to social media to comment on the interaction between Reid and Harbaugh, showing respect for the AFC West rivalry.

“Definitely. Both have won a lot of games,” said one fan.

Before taking the field for “Sunday Night Football,” Reid was asked about Jim Harbaugh, who’s considered a hot name in coaching circles.

“We look forward to the challenge of playing the Chargers,” Reid said, per Miguel Angel Bolavip. “A good football team as we know. Jim has done it at every level. Really. He comes from a great family, great football family. His dad is a phenomenal football coach, he could have easily coached at this level. Jim’s got a great feel. He knows it from the player’s standpoint and from the coaching standpoint. He has a good balance of things.”

With the Week 14 win, the Chiefs earned their ninth straight AFC West title.
