Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry and his wife, Ayesha Curry, have a unique Christmas tradition. For the 12th year, their annual “Christmas with the Currys” took the noble step of donating $500k to provide 1 million meals to the Alameda County Community Food Bank via their foundation, “Eat.Learn.Play.”
In addition to donations to the food bank, the foundation gives back to selected elementary schools and 300 students from Oakland. Furthermore, an additional $200k will be spent on grocery gift cards for a thousand Oakland families.
“What an incredible day at Madison Park Academy! As co-founders of Eat. Learn. Play., we were thrilled to kick off our 12th annual Christmas with the Currys with a day full of joy, creativity, and connection. From a pop-up book fair, games, and crafts to the unveiling of Madison Park’s newly refreshed library, the day was nothing short of magical!” the post said.
The couple dressed in the spirit of the festivity, with Steph sporting a red sweatshirt and Ayesha wearing a green jacket.
The Currys are one of the most beloved couples in the NBA. They met via a church even when Steph was 14 and Ayesha 13. Their love has grown ever since, and they are currently blessed with three lovely children, Riley Elizabeth (born July 19, 2012), Ryan Carson (born July 10, 2015), and Canon W. Jack (born July 2, 2018).
Steph Curry’s first kiss with Ayesha was not as smooth as his sharpshooting basketball skills
Steph Curry and Ayesha have been together for over 20 years. Ayesha, in a conversation with People magazine in 2020, revealed details of their first date.
The lovely couple started dating in 2008 and went on a date at Hollywood Boulevard. Her first impression of him and what he attempted to do their first kiss took her by surprise.
“So funny and silly. The absolute opposite of what I thought he was going to be. He was mid-conversation and came flying at my face like a thief in the night. So I was like, no. Then I thought, ‘Oh, I didn’t know this is what was happening’,” she said.
While that moment may have been awkward for the baby-faced assassin, the pair have been stronger since. She has been a strong supporter of the four-time NBA winner throughout his career with the Golden State Warriors.
