It’s no secret that Taylor Swift had been emotional leading up to the end of her near-two-year “Eras Tour” concert series. In fact, a previous report indicated that she has been leaning on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, as she enters a “difficult transition” now that she’s no longer on the road for the tour.
At the same time, however, there has to be a sense of relief for the 34-year-old after she performed in her final show in Vancouver on Sunday. As a matter of fact, Sarah Jones of Page Six has indicated in a new report that the tour has, indeed, taken its toll on Swift.
“Taylor was ready for this tour to wrap because she’s burnt out and is looking forward to some rest and relaxation,” a source told Page Six.
The report also stated that Kelce “has encouraged her” to take some much-needed R&R after a grueling past two years on the road.
According to Page Six’s source, the Chiefs star tight end is “so inspired by her and proud of all the hard work she’s done.”
Right now, though, there is reportedly one thing Kelce wants her to do now that the tour is over.
“At the same time, Travis feels it’s important for Taylor to take some time out for herself,” the insider told Page Six.
Swift will be celebrating her 35th birthday on Friday, and Kelce has reportedly planned a big surprise to make their celebration extra special.
It is clear that the three-time Super Bowl champion is feeling like a proud boyfriend right now, but he is also adamant about Swift taking time for herself after being “burnt out” by her tour. Whether or not this will impact Kelce’s plans for Friday’s birthday bash remains to be seen.
However, it appears that Kelce is going above and beyond to make sure that they can mark this important milestone in the most memorable way possible.
